The new Ngqura tug ORCA underwent Owners Acceptance trails on 8 to March 2010 at the port of Durban. The tug built by Southern Ocean Shipyards Durban to the Transnet National Ports Authority specifications achieved an average bollard pull of 76.8 ton and speed of 13.2 knots. It is expected that TNPA will take delivery of the ORCA during the week and she is due to set sail for Port Elizabeth on Monday 15 March 2010 where she will join her sister ship SHASA at the port of Ngqura.
